About CRLTRG

The Cheyenne River Long-Term Recovery Group (CRLTRG) works to strengthen disaster preparedness, response, and long-term recovery across the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation and surrounding rural communities.

Disaster Recovery

A hub in Eagle Butte or Timber Lake can be framed as a health access point during disasters, outages, extreme weather, and public health emergencies.

Emergency Training (CERT / CPR)

Because premature avoidable deaths are high, local response time and community-trained responders matter.

Community Resilience

The Commonwealth Fund data supports requests for navigators who help families keep coverage, schedule care, access medications, and connect to IHS, tribal health, Medicaid, and nonprofit support.

Resilience Hub Project
Building a Community Resilience Hub in Timber Lake

CRLTRG is developing a community resilience hub to support emergency response, volunteer coordination, and disaster preparedness across the Cheyenne River region.

Community resilience is built through partnership, training, and service.
